Our Team

Arthur Endsley, PhD

Arthur is a Research Scientist at the University of Montana, leading development and maintenance of the NASA Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) Level 4 Carbon (L4C) product. As water constraints on plant productivity are increasing under global climate change, links between carbon and water cycles are of critical interest, and he is actively using models to investigate these links. He is the Principal Investigator (PI) for the NASA-funded computational climate-science curriculum.

Walid Ouaret

Walid is a PhD student in Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park, researching the effects of climate extremes on agricultural production and food security. He also serves as a co-Investigator (Co-I) for the NASA-funded computational climate-science curriculum.

Hannah Shafer

Hannah is a post-graduate in Geography at the University of Montana. She is leading the design of the curriculum's impact evaluation, which will be used to assess whether and how participants change their habits and adopt new tools after being exposed to our curriculum.

Molly Brown, PhD

Molly is the Chief Science Officer at 6th Grain and a Co-Investigator (Co-I) for the NASA-funded computational climate-science curriculum.
